Last week, our youngest learners explored the season with apple tasting. Yum! Through nature studies and sensory experiences, our pre-kindergarteners are discovering the sights, sounds, textures, and tastes that make each season special.

Little hands, kind hearts! 🐦💚

Our kindergarteners celebrated St. Francis of Assisi, our diocesan Saint of the Month, by making and hanging bird feeders! Inspired by his love for God’s creatures, they practiced the virtue of kindness by caring for the birds around our school. 🌿

At St. Ann Classical Academy, lessons in faith and virtue come to life through simple, meaningful actions. Even our youngest students are learning that small acts of kindness can make a difference in God’s beautiful world. ✝️

🎨 Our fourth graders’ study of the Renaissance continues with a closer look at the art and artists of the period!

After studying Michelangelo’s Pietà, students tried their own hands at sculpting, carving their creations from bars of Ivory soap. Working carefully to shape their sculptures gives them a new appreciation for the patience, precision, and skill this art requires. 🧼✨

At St. Ann Classical Academy, history, art, and faith come together through immersive, hands-on learning. These connections are central to a classical education, inviting students to encounter beauty, explore ideas, and deepen their understanding through their own creative work.

💙 What a joy it was to welcome Immaculata’s students, admissions staff, and Joe Spartan himself to St. Ann Classical Academy!

Our seventh and eighth graders enjoyed hearing about the opportunities that await them in high school, including the “keys” they will collect and the doors an Immaculata education can unlock. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and encouragement the visiting team shared with our students.

A special highlight was their gracious visit to our first-grade gym class! Our youngest students were overjoyed to meet Joe Spartan and share plenty of high fives and hugs. 🙌😊

We look forward to our seventh and eighth graders experiencing Immaculata firsthand as Spartans for a Day! 💙🏫

To serve at the altar is a sacred duty and a joyful privilege. ✝️

Following this morning’s Mass, our altar servers trained with Fr. Steven and Mr. Nardino. We are grateful for their leadership, guidance, and faithful witness as they prepare our students to serve with discipline, attentiveness, and reverence.

Each movement has a purpose. From their posture and gestures to the careful fulfillment of their duties, our servers are learning that serving well requires preparation, humility, and a commitment to doing things correctly out of love for Christ.

Their service assists the priest and helps the whole congregation pray. The order and reverence they bring to the sanctuary direct our attention to the sacred mysteries being celebrated. Their example reminds us to approach the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with greater attention and devotion ourselves.

We are excited to see our servers begin their service at the altar on Monday! May they find lasting joy in serving Our Lord and helping our school community worship Him with reverence and love. 🙏🤍

History is coming out of the boxes at St. Ann! 📸🔎

Our 6th–8th grade enrichment students are stepping into the role of archivists, digging into the St. Ann archives to uncover the photographs and artifacts that tell our school’s story. They are carefully reviewing, tagging, recording, and arranging their discoveries into displays to share with our community.

Along the way, students are learning that preserving history means preserving the stories of the people who helped shape St. Ann. We look forward to sharing their work as we celebrate our past and welcome families into our school’s next chapter!
