New Pathways Tech offers specialized training programs designed to prepare students for careers in precision machining and advanced manufacturing. Through hands-on courses in manual machining and CNC operations, students gain practical experience producing precision-machined parts using industry-standard equipment. Our Machining Skills Credential Program prepares students to earn six nationally recognized credentials from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), along with OSHA 10 Safety Certification. With industry-focused instruction and opportunities to earn valuable credentials, New Pathways Tech helps students build the qualifications and experience needed to enter today's manufacturing workforce.

At New Pathways Tech, students gain hands-on experience with our Kingston HS-1700, a durable manual engine lathe used to build the foundational skills every machinist needs. From setup and measurement to turning operations and precision part production, students develop a strong understanding of core machining principles.

Please join us in welcoming our Summer Intern, Josh Teller!

We are thrilled to have Josh joining New Pathways this summer through the PATH Foundation. Josh is from Culpeper and is currently a rising third-year student at George Mason University. During his internship with the PATH Foundation, he will be splitting his time between the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission and New Pathways Tech. At New Pathways Tech, he will support social media content creation, community outreach, communications and database management, and organizational coordination. We’re looking forward to having Josh as part of the New Pathways team this summer.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: THOMAS LEWIS ‼️

Thomas enrolled at New Pathways Tech with no prior machining experience and quickly built the skills needed to succeed in manufacturing. While still taking classes, he's secured a role in the aerospace industry by applying what he's learned in the program.
