🌿 Learning Beyond the Classroom 🌿

Our students have been busy exploring, discovering, and learning through hands-on outdoor experiences this spring! We are proud to continue building opportunities that connect our students to nature, community, and place-based learning. ☀️🌱

🍃 1st Grade traveled to Grass River Natural Area where they explored Michigan ecosystems and experienced nature up close through outdoor learning adventures.

🌳 2nd/3rd Grade students traveled to Mackinaw City to explore Fort Mackinac, bringing Michigan history to life through immersive learning experiences.

🦎 Kindergarten visited Raven Hill Discovery Center for interactive, hands-on experiences connecting science, history, art, and wildlife exploration.

🌸 Our 4th & 5th graders partnered with the Alden Depot to plant over 1,000 flowers, helping beautify the community while supporting our school’s vision of becoming a stronger eco-school focused on place-based education
