Through the Eyes of a Dinosaur 10/26/2020

Hey Paleo Friends!
Paleontology Grad Student and Club member, Rudy Hummel has put together an educational event with Makoshika State Park, a two-hour Livestream of the videogame Saurian, a realistic dinosaur survival simulator that takes place in the Hell Creek ecosystem. During gameplay, Rudy will be discussing the science and programming behind the game with Dr. John Scannella, Dr. Holly Woodward, and two of the game's developers. A fun way to explore science, paleontology, and videogames.

The stream will run from 3 pm to 5 pm mountain time on Tuesday, October 27th.

Howdy, Hardrockers and welcome back, from your Paleontology Club 2020 officers! We’re so excited to see what we can SAFELY accomplish this semester as an organization! Unfortunately, our last semester was cut short, but that didn’t stop us from holding zoom meetings and keeping in touch as much as possible! Before the in person semester came to an end, we were lucky to get the opportunity as an organization to be invited to Rushmore caves and identify invertebrate fossils on the cave walls! Fall 2019, we were lucky to have a very productive semester, and hopefully Fall 2020 brings the same! Come visit us Tuesday at the Org Fair! Hope to see you there!
