We were involved in a spontaneous, freestyle art collab this evening! Check it out! Vincent from the Suzie Cappa Art Center let us borrow some fun resource pics for Brian and me to take home. You can tell we were inspired! Oil pastels and toys pair nicely together! Toy soldiers by Amy Heuston. Neon Furby by Brian Bertsch. 💗

Does anyone have a trick for spreading peanut butter on celery without getting it all over your hands??? Although Andrew didn’t dodge the mess, I was certainly impressed by his technique! The raised pinky makes the mess sophisticated. 🤩 He looks like a professional.

September marks one full year in business! It felt a little scary to start my own business, but it was one of the best decisions I've made. I love my customers. Their joy in learning is infectious! Thank you to you all. You made my year a very special one. 🥰🤟🌼ðŸ§

Hands down, this has been our favorite recipe book. We love the simple illustrations, the easy to follow instructions, and the add ons/substitutes. We made our own roast beef adventure today. Andrew kept his choices classic: roast beef, lettuce, onions, cheese, pickles, mayo and mustard.
Would you try a classic version like Andrew or would you choose a more uncommon combo? I love sweet and savory flavors together… maybe pineapple?
P.s. I wish they made a salad book just like this. Maybe we’ll have to start our own!

Does anyone else LOVE to get new school supplies? Check out these mega paper clips I found at Walmart! I’m a sucker for anything in rainbow order.
I also bought some clear packing tape to try out some image transfers. In college, I was obsessed with Polaroid transfers. As it’s can be really hard to find the right Polaroid materials nowadays, these tape transfers have taken me back to that same artsy feeling with VERY little prep and clean up, and requires very little skill or patience.
