The first five years Kelly Cardenas had his salon open, he got robbed every year. After robbery number two, they built what he calls a break-in packet. Locksmith, glass guy, computer serial numbers, insurance contact.

Fifth robbery, they were back open in two hours.

His take: a system is a written record of every screw-up someone before you already made.
