Real competitive advantage is usually simpler than we make it.
Start and maintain an exercise routine. Build the discipline to ignore distractions. Develop the willpower to finish the goals that actually move you forward.
Set one goal this week that strengthens all three—and moves you closer to your Individual Purpose.

Who loves those impromptu conversations about “In my work center”?
Last Friday during our ritual “First Friday” get together. The group I was socializing with started talking about how the individual sections of their unit don’t interact. They do their jobs, but there is a lack of interdepartmental cohesion.
This lack of Team Cohesion is limiting their potential. One of the Leadership Competencies for the RBLP Leadership Certifications is to identify this dynamic.
Have you ever looked at your work center and asked that question “Why don’t they work together ?” All Domain Leadership LLC is ready to help you understand that question , how it builds stronger more resilient teams and overcome the challenges of developing Team Cohesion!

The Hidden Return on Investment (ROI): Why You Hire the Resume, but Lead the Human
In my years of leadership, I’ve never seen a mission, operation, or organization succeed because of a certificate on the wall. They succeed or fail based on the character of the people behind the tools.
At Mavis Brown Consulting LLC, we talk a lot about "People Excellence." But what does that actually mean in a high-stakes corporate environment? It means moving past the "Technical Spec" version of hiring and focusing on the Human Capital Strategy.
Most organizations are great at identifying what a person can do. They are often less equipped to understand who that person is under pressure, how they contribute to a culture of trust, or how they lead when the "manual" doesn't have the answer.
The 3 Pillars of People Excellence:
◆ Character over Credentials: Skills can be taught; integrity and work ethic are forged. Are you screening for the "un-teachable" traits?
◆ Cultural Architecture: You don't "have" a culture; you build one every day through inclusive leadership and clear expectations.
◆ The Transition Factor: Just as I had to learn to be a "Citizen," your employees are constantly transitioning—into new roles, new teams, or new leadership levels. Are you supporting the human through the shift?
Your most expensive line item isn't your tech stack—it’s the productivity lost to "invisible friction" within your teams.
When you invest in People Excellence, you are optimizing your most valuable asset for peak performance.
What is one "character trait" you value more than any technical skill on a resume? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
