Hi Knollwood Heights Elementary families! I’m Twila Meyers, your school’s Lifeways Counselor. My goal this year is to help support and encourage families by providing education and tips for building healthy relationships. Lots of little talks are more effective than one big talk. Small conversations make a big impression. Check out this month’s flyer all about supporting your child as they head back to school! Guess what tomorrow, August 24th is? IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for the 2026-2027 School Year! We can't wait to see you!

Students may be dropped off on the playground at 7:45 am. There will not be supervision until then. School begins at 7:55 am.

Please DO NOT have students enter through the front doors of the building. Students need to be dropped off on the playground. This is where they will enter the lunchroom and get their breakfast. If a student arrives after 8:00, they may come to the front door. After 8:05, they will need to get a tardy slip at the office. Thank you for your help with this.

Knollwood would like to welcome all of our returning students as well as those students who will be new to us for the 2026-2027 School Year! We hope you had a fun filled summer and are ready to be back in school and ready to learn. Just a reminder that school starts on Monday, August 24th at 7:55 am. We can't wait to see you!

Knollwood's Open House is this Thursday, August 20th from 4:00-7:30 pm.

Come meet your child's teacher and see their classroom.

Our Kindergarten teachers will be doing a presentation in the gym at 4:30 and 6:00 for our new kindergarten students.

Just a sidenote....unfortunately KONA ICE is not available to come to our event. We are sorry for the miscommunication.

Join the Knollwood PTO!

Whether you have lots of time or just a little, there’s a place for you. You don’t need a cape or a suit of armor-we just need parents and families who want to make a difference.

Come be part of the team that helps create memorable experiences for students, supports our teachers and staff, and makes Knollwood a place where our Mighty Knights can shine!

We meet the first Monday we are in school of each month at 5:15.

You can scan the QR code to join. There will also be a sign up table tomorrow night at our open house from 4:00-7:30.
