This week we competed in the KEEN Bridge Design Competition. The team was tasked with building a bridge spanning 36 inches out of paper and staples. Our bridge weighed 193 grams and held over 1500 grams. We had so much fun watching all of the teams compete and are looking forward to participating again next year.

Our team competed at the National Competition in Ames, IA this past weekend and we had a blast. We scored 10th in construction speed, 19th in lightness, 13th in aesthetics, 7th in stiffness, 7th in cost estimation, 19th in construction economy, 5th in structural efficiency, and 18th overall. We could not have done it without the support of our team, families, and sponsors so thank you to all. We look forward to next year and anything the competition can throw at us!
