Black Hills Educational Institute Wes Shelton and Valerie Baker run the Black Hills Educational Institute to create fun and education

The Black Hills Educational Institute has been creating fun and educational programs since 1995. Our goal is to provide programs that inspire, excite and educate. We do this by utilizing our areas natural splendor, historic resources, monumental attractions and expert presenters. We offer numerous guided educational programs ranging in topics from wild and woolly wildlife, to Native American tradi

tions, to notorious old west characters as well as dynamic and colossal mountains and mountain carvings. We also offer Intergenerational programs to share with those special grandchildren. We incorporate the 'must see' with the 'behind the scenes' to create a unique and memorable experience. Indulge yourself in its history, mystery, wonder and memorable stories with educational travel programs provided by the Black Hills Educational Institute and Road Scholar. Our program prices are all inclusive and include lodging, most meals, attraction fees, and presentation fees. Today Black Hills Educational Institute produces Road Scholar programs in the Black Hills, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, and Waterton, Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada.
