Scott Van Dam will be talking all about the Fairburn Agate. Cake will be served in honor of Roger Clark, acclaimed author of Hills Agate and Fairburn Agate – South Dakota State Gemstone. Maybe an autograph or two if you bring your copy of one of his books.

On Thursday, join us for our monthly meeting at 6 PM featuring guest speaker Anne Metli from the Sanford Labs Research Facility—we’re excited to learn from her and dive into some fascinating science.
Then on Friday, you can find us at the South Dakota Homeschool Convention at The Monument in Rapid City, where we’ll be sharing our love of rocks and minerals and teaching kids all about the amazing world beneath their feet. 🪨✨
