8:05- 4th and 5th grade orchestra
8:30- 4th grade singing
9:00- 5th grade band
9:30- 5th grade musical
10:00- Kindergarten singing
10:25- 1st grade singing
10:50- 2nd grade singing
11:20- 3rd grade singing

Thanks so much to those who were able to come and support us at the film festival yesterday! We were bummed that there was a glitch of some kind with the audio and our video didn’t play completely, but we are so proud of the work our students did on this project! They all showed up with their families and were able to stand on the red carpet with our mascot (thanks, Mr. Ryan!) before the video. Our original video was too long for the festival requirements and we had to edit it down, so this is the link to our original video…we hope you enjoy it! 😊

South Canyon Library is holding a Read-a-Thon this year!

Read-a-Thons get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more…and it provides us with funds to purchase more books! 😎

Our Read-a-Thon starts Monday November 6 and runs through November 20.

Your child will be bringing home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page in their Friday Folder. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/3538353730/1 and following the simple instructions.

We've chosen Read-a-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

Ok, South Canyon families, we need some help with our research for our short documentary!

We want to know when the mascot changed from SC Cobras to SC Hawks…anyone know anything about this?

We would love pictures of these past principals… Lloyd Groat, Florence Napier, Eric Holscher, Betty Richey…anyone have a lead for us??

We would also take any pictures you may have of happenings at South Canyon from the 1950s-2000.
