Congratulations to our student, Shayam! He became a private pilot today and the first checkride for the new Black Hills area DPE. He had a DPE and an FAA inspector on board and rocked it. Congrats Shayam!

In case you missed the news—local pilot, Mike Rath is now a DPE! Today, he conducted his first check ride with Shayam, a student pilot from Rapid City.

Everyone tell Ellie CONGRATULATIONS on becoming an MEI! Even though she has been teaching for us many years (in addition to being a corporate pilot) she decided to continue her flight training and add multi engine instructor to her certificate. Good work Ellie!
