Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security is named after Colonel David Henley and General Israel Putnam, two intelligence officers who served under General George Washington in the American Revolutionary War.

College outcomes are often reduced to a single number. But what does that number actually measure?

Graduation rates are a good example.

Different federal measures can produce different graduation rates for the same college because they may include different groups of students. First-time students. Transfer students. Full-time students. Part-time students.

The numbers aren't necessarily in conflict. They may simply be measuring different things.

For students, families and anyone evaluating higher education, understanding **who is represented in the data** can be just as important as the percentage itself.

Where can your experience take you next?

If you’re building a career in construction, you may already know that experience matters. But what happens when you start looking beyond your current role toward management, leadership, or the next stage of your career?

William Holton can relate.

He entered construction at 18 and spent more than 20 years building his career in the field. Eventually, he realized that experience had taken him a long way, but reaching some of his future goals could require more.

At 50, William went back to school and earned his BS in Construction Management from National American University.

AI can find college data in seconds. Understanding what that data actually represents can take a little more work.

Graduation rates, completion, student debt and other college outcomes provide valuable information. But every number has a definition, a methodology and a student population behind it.

I'd drop because it's redundant with . Four hashtags is plenty.

And I like the magnifying glass specifically because it reinforces research/search/interpretation, rather than adding decoration. I would not use 🤖, 🎓, 📊, 💡, etc. That's where it starts looking like marketing content about serious research rather than serious content being distributed through social media.

🤖 Will AI eliminate entry-level jobs?
