📣 RESCHEDULED DATE: Evening with the Experts is now Monday, September 21!

Join us Monday, September 21 from 6:30–8:00 PM online for our next Evening with the Experts: Prenatal & Infant High-Quality Practices for the Early Childhood Provider.

We’re excited to welcome Anna Waterland Dykstra, CNM, WHNP-BC with Oyate Health, alongside Ashleigh Young with Early Childhood Connections, for a conversation about supporting children and families during some of the earliest and most foundational stages of development.

Together, we’ll explore prenatal development, the transition into life with a newborn, and what high-quality infant care looks like in early childhood settings. We’ll discuss responsive caregiving, attachment and brain development, feeding and care routines, safe and nurturing environments, and how early childhood providers can become an important part of the village supporting new and expecting families. 💜

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Anna Quinn of Hope Storm as our keynote speaker, along with an incredible group of local professionals leading breakout sessions throughout the day.

Join us to discover how relationship-focused clubs can help school-age children build friendships, strengthen social skills, foster belonging, and create meaningful connections, all while having fun! Baby sitting is a common first job for young teenagers. The American Red Cross Babysitter training was designed by experts for participants ages 11-16. This engaging, in-person program equips young sitters with essential child care skills and basic first-aid skills, from planning fun, age-appropriate activities to preventing accidents and responding calmly to emergencies. If your teenager is babysitting this year, or if you have a babysitter for your children, but want to make sure they know the necesary basics, give Early Childhood Connections a call to register! 605-342-6464
