St. Malachy Cross Country did amazing at the Saber Corn Race this morning! There were 26 teams in attendance and Greyson Grilo finished 10th in the 5th grade boys race, while Keegan Combest finished 6th in the 6th grade boys race. The team did wonderful as well and we are proud of them! GO TIGERS!!

St. Matthew Parish will be taking a bus to the beatification Mass of Fulton Sheen on Thursday, September 24, 2026! The group will leave in the morning and return that evening. There are still a few spots left. If you are interested, please complete the online form at www.stmatt.net/sheen-bus. The cost is $125 per person which includes a ticket to the beatification Mass. When we run out of room, we recommend contacting St. Patrick Parish to inquire about the availability on their bus.

Can't make it to St. Louis but still want to participate on this historic day? Join us in Feeney Hall for a watch party! The livestream begins at 2:00 pm.

Many have suffered this past week with the heavy rains and floods that hit our area. We pray foremost for those who suffered catastrophic losses. We also think of the many who have
suffered damage and hardship. Here at home St. Malachy Church was affected with the temporary loss of our AC and furnace systems. Please bear with us as we work diligently to restore these amenities.

In the meantime let us pray for all: God of all comfort, look down on us in this hard hour. The heavy rains have brought pain and loss to our neighbors. Give peace to the hurting, strength to the weary, and hope to those who lost so much. Guide our hands to help each other heal. Amen.

Children’s Faith Formation classes:

Registration Day will be THIS Sunday, August 23rd with a Parent/Guardian Meeting scheduled for Sunday, September 13th.

Registration, meeting and classes will be held at St. Malachy School following the 9:30 AM Mass. We will have English and Spanish classes available. Registration is $50.00 per student.

Registration forms are available at the entrances of St. Lawrence, St. Elizabeth and St. Malachy Churches and the St. Malachy Parish office. Please include a copy of the Baptismal record for each student.

St. Malachy enrolled students do not need to register.

NOTE: Deadline for those students receiving a Sacrament will be October 1st.
