Join the McLaurin Show Choir, AMBUSH, Thursday, May 17 at 1:15 in the gym for our Spring show...RISE. This year's show will address four issues teens face: Self-Image, Relationship Issues, Bullying and Depression/Anxiety. Come and listen to the stories of our students through song, dance and personal stories as we encourage students to find their voice and RISE...even through the difficulties of life. The concert is free and the community and parents are invited to attend. Join us for this powerful time of perspective.

Ambush Show Choir is in full preparation mode for the Christmas Show (Held at Star Baptist Church, December 7@6:30pm.) High School students have letters about dress/tuxedo monies due and the Polar Express trip. Jr. High Students will receive the letter tomorrow (10/13). We will be traveling on Saturday, December 2 to Batesville to ride the Polar Express Train at 3:00 pm and will then go to Canton for the Festival of Lights. The Cost of the Tickets for the Polar Express are as follows: Adults - $40.00 (13 and above) and Children - $30.00. Students will take pictures for the Christmas Show. If parents would like to follow the bus and bring siblings, that is no problem. I will need to order tickets next Friday (10/20) and money and names need to be turned in by this date. Great things are happening with McLaurin Show Choirs. This year, we will have both a Jr. High Show Choir and a High School Show Choir! Both choirs will be taught during the day in classes. If you would like to know more information about enrolling your student into one of these choirs, please contact Stephanie Bowlin at 601-842-0040 or Christy Walker at 601-845-2247.
