We have made some big changes to our classroom this year that we are so excited to share! We switched from a mixed group to ages 2-5, with a group of toddlers/young preschoolers at this time! We are focusing and adding into our curriculum lots of social emotional learning, as kiddos these ages esp have some big feelings that they need help learning how to express.
Social and emotional development begins early in life. This is when children start to understand who they are, what they are feeling and what to expect when interacting with others. It's when they learn how to form and sustain positive relationships; experience, manage and express emotions. We are incorporating many SEL activities into our themed curriculum! We have made a calm corner with fidgets that the kiddos have really enjoyed using when they are feeling angry, sad, overwhelmed, or are happy and just want a few minutes to chill out by themselves and play with the fidgets!
We have also remodeled our classroom since we have last posted much on our public page!

Food tastes so much better when it’s grown with love!! We picked another yummy zucchini from our garden this morning and decided to make zucchini crisps! We sliced, dredged in flour and egg, then dipped in panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese and baked! (I should’ve taken the picture before I put them all on the kids plates oops) I am SO proud of all my friends for trying our new food today at lunch! Most of them thought they were yummy and ate them right up! 🤗
