🎉 May School Mansfield is celebrating its one year anniversary!

On October 6, 2025, the school welcomed students for its very first day. Since then, students and staff have spent the year learning, growing, building relationships, and creating a strong school community together.

May Institute is heading to BABAT 2026!

Next week, 21 May staff members will take part in 11 BABAT events in Worcester, MA. Our team will be featured across panel discussions, symposia, workshops, and poster presentations.

May presenters will share their work across a range of topics, from school and community-based services to independence, healthy eating, interdisciplinary collaboration, and more.

Meet Dr. Bob Putnam, Executive Vice President of PBIS and Consultation at May Institute.

For more than 30 years, Bob has worked alongside public schools to strengthen supports for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. His work has grown from supporting individual students and classrooms to helping entire schools and districts implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Through consultation, training, and data-driven practices, Bob helps educators build consistent systems that support positive behavior and give schools the tools to sustain that work over time.

We’re proud to celebrate Lauren Solotar, Ph.D., President and CEO of May Institute, on her appointment to the Board of Directors of the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP).

With more than 30 years of experience at May Institute, Lauren has dedicated her career to advancing services and support for autistic individuals and people with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and neurobehavioral disorders.

As a licensed, board-certified clinical psychologist and longtime human services leader, Lauren brings extensive clinical experience and a commitment to supporting individuals and families across the lifespan.
