Last week at the Chandler Center for the Arts, in Randolph, VT, I was fortunate to get to mix the show for Puuluup, an Estonian Zombie Folk duo. Ramo and Marco were great! Their main instrument was the Talharpa, a violin-like device.

I’ve been hooked ever since. Checkout their album, Süüta Ma Lumi.

Now that we're in The Underground - Recording Studio in Randolph, VT and I'm doing the Audio Engineering at The Chandler Center for the Arts, I realized what a wide range of talent, interests, and needs, the local musicians have here in Vermont.

When I first proposed the concept of offering education in Audio, Mixing, and Mastering, here on Facebook, there was a tremendous number positive responses in the first day, or two, after the post. While there still seems to be a lot of people interested in improving their recordings, and/or live sound setups, very few people have actually taken advantage of the opportunity.

I was thinking it might be worthwhile to offer free, 'town hall' types of get togethers to discuss how we can better serve the musicians and music community here in Vermont.

Last night, I had the privilege of doing the sound engineering at The Chandler Center for the Arts for Eugene Uman, Wanda Houston, Michael Zsoldos, David Picchi, and Jon Fisher on The Convergence Project. It was truly an honor to work with such talented musicians!
