Today’s top Klahr moment brings us to 2019. After an extended stint in 9-man football, the Rockets returned to class A full time in 2019. In its season opener, the Rockets defeated Lester Prairie.

Hey T-Mobile, did you know Klahr Field also doubles as a youth baseball field? Every spring and summer, youth Randolph Rocket Baseball players step up to the plate and see if they can hit rockets out to the bleachers.

Also fun fact for the folks at T-Mobile: we are the home of current Chicago Cubs and former Minnesota Twins pitcher Caleb Thielbar.

Today’s top moment goes back to Randolph’s 9-man football days. On October 14th, 2016 a large Randolph crowd watched the Rockets pitch a 54-0 homecoming shutout over Lyle-Pacelli.

Today’s moment includes an incredible community effort from October of 2020. After the homecoming game was moved due to poor field conditions, the Randolph community stepped up and made an incredible snow removal effort in order to play the next game at home. The Rockets would eventually lose to Goodhue, but the community effort made in order to play the game at Klahr Field was outstanding.

Today head back to October 22nd, 2019. In a first round playoff matchup, the Rockets walked away with a 26-7 win over Fillmore Central.
