Labor Day is a time to celebrate the hard work of working people and the power of coming together to make our workplaces and communities stronger. As educators, we know there’s strength in solidarity and that we’re stronger when we stand together.

To all of our members across Morris County, we hope you had a restful summer and wish you a great start to the new school year! We’re looking forward to another year of learning, growing, and supporting one another.

**REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN**

To kick off the 2026 school year, NJEA’s Northeast and Northwest Zones are hosting a members-only event at Turtle Back Zoo! This exciting adventure is open to all NJEA members working in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Union, Sussex, Hunterdon, Somerset, Morris, Passaic, and Warren counties.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow educators, enjoy an evening surrounded by wildlife, and learn more about the county organizations that advocate for you! Each NJEA member may bring up to three guests, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Be sure to register no later than September 26, 2026, using the link below.
