For 125 collective years, AWSL and the Cispus Learning Center have impacted generations of students, educators, schools, and communities across Washington and beyond. With AWSL celebrating 70 years and Cispus celebrating 55 years as an outdoor learning center, there is so much history to honor and so many people to thank.
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to pause and celebrate that incredible legacy together.
Thank you to the 140+ people who joined us at T-Mobile Park for our first-ever Legacy in the Outfield outing! Based on the joy, connection, stories, and laughter shared throughout the day, we know it will not be the last.
Whether you were able to join us yesterday or not, you are part of this story. Thousands of people have given their time, energy, heart, and belief to AWSL and Cispus over the decades. Students, staff members, advisors, educators, volunteers, families, friends, and supporters have all helped shape these organizations into what they are today.
We are incredibly thankful for those who came before us, grateful for those who continue to carry this work forward, and inspired by the generations still to come.
125 collective years. Countless lives impacted. One incredible legacy.
