Yesterday, we celebrated our 5th Graders as they were promoted from Elementary School, and now prepare for the next chapter of their St. John’s journey. These Cardinals are saying goodbye to red sweaters and hello to new opportunities, challenges, and adventures as Middle Schoolers. We are so proud of the growth and leadership they have shown throughout their Elementary years. As they spread their wings and move forward, we know they will continue to S.O.A.R. Congratulations, 5th Grade Cardinals! Middle school awaits! ❤️🖤📚✨

Our Early Childhood Division students enjoyed a very special visit from John Archibald, co-author of the beloved children’s book 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘮! 🌴📚 During his visit, Mr. Archibald encouraged students to use their imagination, reminding them that stories and creativity can take them anywhere. Our youngest Cardinals loved hearing about storytelling and the power of imaginative thinking; it was truly a memorable experience that inspired curiosity and a love of reading! ❤️✨

🔖Last week, we gathered to celebrate another wonderful year in the Middle Division! Students from each grade level were recognized with either the Suzy Hardy Young Innovator, Young Artist, Cardinal Character, or Academic Award. ❤️

We also recognized our City of Rancho Santa Margarita award recipients, who were honored earlier this spring at an April city council meeting. This special award, representing the very best of St. John’s, will now be presented in honor of Mrs. Sheryll Grogan as she retires after 27 years at SJES, serving as our beloved Middle Division teacher, Dean of Students, Principal, and now Head of School. Two distinguished named awards, recognizing character, eloquence, and service to the school will also be presented at graduation next week. 🎓✨
