Tomorrow morning, we invite our RSM Christian School families to join us for a special Patriots’ Day Ceremony as we come together in gratitude and prayer. 🇺🇸

We especially invite parents who are first responders, serve in law enforcement, or are active or former military to join us as we recognize and honor those who serve our communities and our country.

All RSMCS parents are invited to stay after morning lines and join us as we pray over our first responders, city officials, military families, and our nation.

Worship doesn’t only happen in Chapel. 💙

At RSM Christian School, faith is woven into the everyday moments of learning, growing, and being together.

Sometimes that looks like an all-school Chapel in the sanctuary. And sometimes it looks like a classroom full of first graders lifting their voices in worship right in the middle of their school day. 🙌

Because worship isn’t just something we schedule. It’s part of who we are.

Our Pre-K class made their own special bracelets, with each colorful bead representing an important part of their classroom community: kindness, respect, being exactly who God created them to be, celebrating differences, sticking together, and working hard. What a colorful—and beautiful—way to begin the school year!

Meet Us Monday is here! 💙

Each Monday, we’ll introduce you to one of the teachers and staff members who make RSM Christian School such a special place. It’s a chance to get to know a little more about the people who teach, encourage, serve, and care for our students each day.

And we’re kicking things off with Mrs. Sloan Gonzales, one of our wonderful First Grade teachers!

Now in her third year at RSMCS, Mrs. Gonzales says one of the things she loves most about teaching is getting to share Jesus with her students while helping them develop a love for learning.

When asked what she hopes her students experience in her classroom, her answer was simple and meaningful: Jesus’ love.

Her favorite part of RSMCS? The community! She loves the staff, students, and families who make our school what it is.

A few fun facts about Mrs. Gonzales:

And a verse that is especially meaningful to her is Matthew 5:16, with the reminder to “Be a Light!”

We’re so grateful for the way Mrs. Gonzales loves, teaches, and encourages our first graders each day. What a wonderful way to kick off Meet Us Monday! 💙

There’s something special about being back together. 💙

We began our first day of school gathered as one RSMCS family in all-school chapel, worshiping together and setting our hearts on the One who will lead us through the year ahead.

Three days in, the classrooms are buzzing, friendships are reconnecting, new ones are beginning, and campus feels like home again.

What a gift to learn, grow, worship, and do life together.
