Santa Margarita Catholic High School mourns the loss of Art Birtcher, one of our school’s founders.

Mr. Birtcher’s vision, faith, and generosity helped make the dream of Santa Margarita Catholic High School a reality in 1987. He and his wife, Gaye, have remained dedicated and generous members of our community throughout the years, helping shape our school into what it is today. His legacy will live on through generations of students and in the Santa Margarita community he helped build.

Please join us in praying for the repose of his soul and holding his family and loved ones in your prayers.

Following this year’s incredible season, Santa Margarita girls golf has won the PGA High School Girls Golf National Invitational. Playing at the historic Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, the girls finished at a staggering 20-under-par 836, 26 strokes ahead of the second place team.

We could not be prouder of you all. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement! 💙💛⛳️
