Hey lets get the club rolling!!
Thursday Drop by Weinert's office (F510) between 12 and 2 and we will create a google group and then we can get organized. If you are not on campus that day - email me and I will put you on the list!!

Hi Club!
This week I have a ton of work to get caught up on in my office. So we will not have a meeting this week.

I have a guest speaker lined up for the club - and am working on getting a time that she can come and chat. Please stay tuned!! She is available on Wednesdays during the days and would possibly have her come and talk during my statistics class (MW 12:30 to 2:45). All of my students are welcome from any of my sections.

We are also going to be headed off to Pershing middle school in Early December to do the memory experiment. I will have forms ready for students in my office in a few weeks.

Please ask me during class about meetings and check this page for updates!

Finally I am relaunching the tee-shirts so if you want one check the page!

Our first official meeting will be Sept 7th!!!! at 12:00 in F510

We need to plan out semester and get organized on the things we want to do.

1) Teach Kids about Psychology -
a) we have gone to elementary schools and dissected brains
b) we have taught 5th graders how to do psychometric analysis
c) We will take an EEG to a middle school and see if they have brains!!

2) Learn about Careers -
a) Talk to people working in psychology about their jobs
b) Talk to Graduate students about their education
c) Go to Universities and lurk about asking questions

3) Learn how to do research
a) Work in the Lab
b) Learn how to write experiments
