In Movement is proud to welcome Jené Wheeless-Orr for a PUBLIC POP-UP POM WORKSHOP designed to strengthen technique, sharpen ex*****on, and elevate performance quality!
With more than 20 years of competitive dance experience, Jené is a dance technique and performance coach, choreographer, and educator trained across ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theatre, pom, and collegiate dance team styles.
Jené earned four national championship titles during her high school competitive career before joining Boston University’s Division I Dance Team, where she became a two-time Varsity NDA Collegiate Champion in D1 Hip Hop and D1 Team Dance. Her choreography and students have since earned championship titles, first-place finishes, Platinum adjudications, Top 5 and Top 10 placements, and specialty awards.
She currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Palm Desert High School Dance Team and specializes in technique, performance development, pom, and collegiate dance team preparation—with an emphasis on strength, stability, power, precision, and ex*****on.
