How do we help our Muslim youth find their path to succeed? The answer was made possible by the College and Career event hosted by Ansaar Academy. The College and Career Day brought community professionals together to offer insight on how to navigate through the maze of career prospects available to them. New opportunities are overwhelming especially for our youth. This event aims to foster their passion and connect students with profession-specific mentors.
It was an inspiring sight to see the traditions of Ansaar Academy continuing to support our youth in every way possible. This tradition is reinforced by student alumni taking the role of mentors by providing meaningful guidance influenced by their own experiences. Our young students got introduced to a variety of college majors, traditional and
non-traditional career paths, further understanding the choices and expectations in their college and career life. Students walked away understanding the power of networking and the doors the Muslim community can provide them if they seek it out.

College and Career Day 2023 3

Today was one of those special days to experience how so many volunteers got together with their hearts and giving spirits to help our brothers and sisters of Türkiye and Syria. Alhumdolillah volunteers of all ages showed up to help pack dozens of boxes with the community's generous donations of blankets, jackets, warm clothing, socks, dry food, diapers, baby formula etc While we sorted, organized, packed, labeled, and loaded three cargo vans, our thoughts were with those who have suffered the huge losses. May Allah accept from everyone who contributed with money, time, and effort and bring ease to the sufferings of the earthquake victims of these countries.
