Hi everybody! It was suggested that I do a video on "Love Your Neighbor." I feel like I ought to do this in segments, so here is the first. I hope if ministers to you.

"When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, 'Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!' For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, 'Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.'”
Luke 5:8-10
Simon is who he was BEFORE he met Jesus. Jesus changed his name to Peter. Simon was the sinner...Peter preached at Pentecost. So why does the Bible say "Simon Peter" in this passage. Maybe because the old person (Simon), and the new person (Peter), resides in the same body, and Jesus sees the potential of Peter, while he's still Simon. So don't get frustrated when your Simon shows up! Remember, Jesus chose Simon

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
You’re playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

What does grace mean to you? Did you know that there is nothing you can do that is too much to receive God's grace? Did you know that if you are truly sorry for something, you can go directly to God and repent (that means to turn the other way) from that mistake/sin and God grace will cover you?

I believe Chuck Swindoll pinned it. This is a perfect description of what God's GRACE is. When Jesus died on the cross, it was because of the intense love that the Father had for us, as His children.
