In just ONE WEEK, our Sunrise community has raised almost $10,000!!! 🎉👏

That is INCREDIBLE. Every donation, every share, every student getting excited about the Fun Run…YOU are making this happen! ❤️💛

We’re now at $13,691 toward our $65,000 goal, and today C & D Track gets to RUN! 🏃‍♀️💨

Last week’s DNO was a delicious success!

Thanks to our amazing Spartan community, we raised $339.56 at MOD Pizza + $125 at Crumbl Cookies = $464.56 for Sunrise! ❤️💛

And a BIG congratulations to Mrs. Porterfield’s class for having the most participation and winning a COOKIE PARTY! 🍪

Okay parents, here’s the deal: our district does not provide funding for a shade structure over our playground. That means if we want our kids to have a cooler, safer place to play, we have to raise the money ourselves. ❤️💛

And if you’ve seen our kids coming off the playground lately… you KNOW how hot they’re getting. 🥵 We want our Spartans to be able to play without getting completely overheated in that California sun!

That’s where the Fun Run comes in! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our goal is bigger than just having a fun school event…we’re fundraising to make a shade structure over the playground a reality. 🌳☀️
