Position Responsibilities Include:
🧸 Providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
🎨 Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
📚 Engaging children through play, stories, art, music, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning experiences
🍎 Helping with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and daily routines as needed
😊 Supporting children in developing independence, problem-solving skills, and positive relationships
👀 Supervising children and maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment
📝 Communicating with families and working as part of a supportive teaching team
🌱 Following childcare licensing requirements, health and safety practices, and program policies

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, compassionate, and enjoys creating meaningful experiences for children.

Experience in early childhood education is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!

Tongue River Child’s Place in Ranchester is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team.
Serving families since 1991, TRCP is a valued part of the Tongue River Valley and has proudly provided high-quality childcare and preschool experiences for over 35 years.
This position works with a mixed-age group of children ages 3–5 and plays a vital role in creating a joyful, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. The Preschool Teacher will implement the Connect 4 Learning curriculum while supporting children’s social-emotional growth, early academic development, and overall well-being. This role also includes collaboration with colleagues and SCSD #1 Early Childhood partners to ensure strong alignment and successful transitions for students.
We are looking for someone who:
• Loves working with young children and believes in the power of early learning
• Brings energy, creativity, and positivity into the classroom each day
• Values teamwork and contributes to a supportive, collaborative environment
• Builds strong, trusting partnerships with parents and providers that foster open communication and shared goals to support every child’s success
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education required
• Experience working with children ages 0–8 preferred
• Ability to meet all Wyoming DFS licensing requirements (background check, fingerprinting, TB test, CPR/First Aid certification)
• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development

Schedule:
– Monday/Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
– Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Additional hours for family events, conferences, professional development, SCSD #1 district work, PLCs, and Kindergarten Screening Day
Follows the SCSD #1 school calendar
Pay: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience
