8th grade held their Winter Peo Rally! Celebrating students on winter sports teams and making it through the first quarter of the school year successfully. Students participated in a series of challenges and games in the name of school spirit ❄️☃️

Start Decked Out December Spirit Week with FESTIVE SWEATER DAY!

Get the holiday festivities rolling, anyone dressed in a festive sweater has a chance to win a spirit day PRIZE

The Young Entrepreneurs Club hosted the first-ever HOLIDAY MARKET! Students created unique items to market and sell, all proceeds will benefit a charity organization of the students choice☃️❄️

This is a reminder that auditions for the 2023 Spring musical production of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL are next week: Monday, 12/19, Tuesday 12/20, and Wednesday 12/21 afterschool until 5:30 PM.

If you are interested- sign up for an audition time slot on the door of the Chorus Room. The audition will be about 5 minutes long.

Have you ever seen a more beautiful sight?! Thanks to the Community Service Club for their holiday collection this year which will benefit Hackensack Children’s Hospital patients as well as the Tommy Strong Foundation collection! Students and staff like you make this season all the more happy and bright!

Next Friday kicks off our Decked Out December Holiday Spirit Week! Join us as we celebrate the upcoming Winter Break and the end of 2022☃️❄️ Students who participate in the day’s theme have a chance to win a special prize that morning so let’s get FESTIVE Smith School!

Tis the season for giving back! Our Community Service Club is sponsoring TWO Gift Drives for the 2022 holiday season! All donations will benefit children receiving care in local hospitals ❄️

The Smith musical production of High School Musical has extended the available audition times to allow for an additional 6 time slots to each day so there is plenty of time for everyone who is interested in auditioning!

Signup sheets for auditions are posted on the door of the Chorus Room- if you have not already done so, be sure to sign up for a day and time that you can attend. Please plan to come to auditions prepared with all materials, and plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled audition time. Auditions are December 19th, 20th, and 21st.

The 8th grade Peer Leaders guide 6th grade through the "Tower Builder" team exercise! Students of 6-1, 6-2, and 6-3 collaborated in the planning and design and ultimately the ex*****on of building a tower made of newspaper and tape. Stduents were given time to initially strategize before being given the materials, they had 10 minutes to excute their design and problem solve and adapt along the way. Peer leaders circulated to offer advice and to oversee the building process. Winners of the tallest tower and the tower most able to withstand a moderate breeze were declared!

Friday, December 2nd will be our Blue & Gold Spirit Day for the month of December. Just like last month, prizes will be awarded to those of you who are wearing our spirit colors, so make sure to show your Ramsey pride with your blue & gold! 💙💛 GO RAMS!

In preparation for the kids coming home from college to celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend with their families, our school-wide spirit day for Wednesday, November 23rd will be College Day!
