Brookside 2nd graders enjoyed a special visit from the Rum River Public Library! 📚✨
Students were excited to learn about the many amazing services and opportunities the library offers, especially the Summer Reading Program!

Our second graders had their own spotlight as they hosted their friends, family, and special guests for a special Dunkin Writer’s event. Students shared their collection of writing samples along with some sweet treats! 🍩

Time for Camp Learn-A-Lot! This week first Grade classrooms have been transformed into campsites and the students learned with camp themed activities. There even was a campfire sing-a-long led by Mrs. Pearson on Tuesday. There are many happy campers here at Brookside!

Today our Student Council members went to Feed My Starving Children to pack meals for those in need.

They heard from the CEO of Feed My Starving Children at the start of their packing session. He told them that FMSC MannaPacks are more well known in Haiti than Coca-Cola! So proud to be part of something that makes a global impact.

Track and field day is scheduled for this Friday and the weather is looking beautiful! It is sure to be a wonderful day!

First graders had a virtual field trip to Disney World for Disney Day. They rode on a virtual airplane to get to Orlando, enjoyed virtual rides, completed Disney themed academic activities, and ended the day with fireworks over the castle at Disney World. 🏰
