Start your year with introducing or reviewing those key question words! Build a communicative classroom right from the start! By pairing simple gestures with questions words like “¿Cuándo? ¿Qué? ¿Por qué? ¿Quién?”, you give learners a visual anchor that helps the meaning stick. I had such a wonderful day working with this exceptionally talented group of World Language teachers in School District of the Chathams 🤩

We discussed and planned for the proficiency path ahead by considering current assessment practices and how to enhance units / assessments / rubrics. Teachers were able to collaborate, share ideas and plan together what the envision for this year.

My counterpart Torri and I also highlighted how different AI tools assisted us by co-creating meaningful assessments with student engagement & accountability at the center.
