🚨 Fire Safety Field Trip 🚨

Ramsey Fire Department came out and taught our little ones all about fire safety! We talked about all their equipment in their fire trucks, good fires vs bad fires and even got to look & sit inside the Fire Truck!

🌛Recap: Night Animals🦝
🖌️Art:
✨ Our favorite art projects this week were gluing together skunks, a fox, porcupines and raccoons. We painted bats. We also made spooky woods, and handprint/footprint owls.
📚Stories:
✨ Grumpy Monkey Up All Night, Little Owls Night, Bears New Friend, While Your Asleep, Walters Wonderful Web and more.
✋Sensory Play:
✨ Our favorite sensory play this week was making floam creations, playing in our sensory bins and finger painting.
🦔 This week, we discussed night animals! The children had a wonderful time learning all about the creatures that are awake while we sleep and excitedly shared their favorite night animals with their friends.

😄 Recap: Me and My Emotions😡
🖌️Art:
✨This week we colored emotion books, we dot dot painted emotion monsters. Painted emotion clouds, glued together mirrors and so much more.
📚Stories:
✨Our favorite stories this week were, How Does a Dinosaur say Im Mad, The Book of Feelings, When Sophie Gets Angry, The Color Monster, My Many Colored Days and The Feelings Book.
✋Sensory Play:
✨ This week we had fun playing with our fall theme sensory bins, finger painted and made playdoh creations!
😊 This week we had a very funny in house field trip, Magician Brian came and performed his Emotions theme magic show! The kids always love when Magician Brian comes to visit. We also had great discussions about our different emotions and all the ways we can express them!

🌈Recap: Colors of the Rainbow🌈
🖌 Art:
✨ This week we watercolored rainbows, made coffee filter rainbow clouds, rainbow friendship bracelets. The kids glued together a rainbow bridge, and a rainbow collage . We painted paint cans and so much more!
📖Story Time:
✨ Our favorite stories this week were Bear Sees Color, I am a Rainbow, My Many Colored Days, I Love Colors, What Makes a Rainbow, and How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow.
✋Sensory Play:
✨ We had lots of fun playing in our sensory bins, made playdoh creations and finger painted
🌈 The children had wonderful discussions about all the colors of the rainbow! They had the opportunity to explore what happens when colors mix together, spot different colors around our classroom and outside, and share their personal favorite colors.

🍏Recap: Apples 🍏
🖌 Art:
✨ This week we painted apples, glued tissue paper on apple cutouts, used apples to stamp, made apple core footprints and watercolor apples
📖Story Time:
✨ Our favorite stories this week were Ten Apples on Top, The Little Apple Seed, The Biggest Apple Ever, Little Apple Tree, Johnny Appleseed, and Apple Picking Day
✋Sensory Play:
✨ We had lots of fun playing in our apple themed sensory bins and ,making playdoh creations.
✨ We had engaging discussions about where and how apples grow, as well as the many different varieties. The children also enjoyed sharing their favorite kinds of apples and personal stories from visits to apple orchards!

✏️Recap: Welcome to our Class✏️
🖌 Art:
✨This week we had lots of fun painting a school bus gluing together pencils, making backpacks, coloring crayons and our names. We also glued together a school, made footprint pencils and so much more!
📖Story Time:
✨ Our favorite stories were Pete the Cat Rocking in my School Shoes. The Wheels on the Bus, Maisy goes to School, David goes to School, and No David
✋Sensory Play:
✨ . We had fun playing in our fall themed sensory bins, making footprint art and playing with floam.
✨ We had a very fun in-house field trip recently! Ponies Pets N Parties visited us for a petting zoo, and the children truly loved seeing and petting all the different animals they brought. This week the kids have had very engaging discussions about all the different school rules and what exciting activities that happen. We also said goodbye to some of our preschool students as they transition to kindergarten. We wish them a fun and happy school year ahead!

🎡Recap: Fair🎡
🖌 Art:
✨We had lot of fun painting cotton candy, gluing together popcorn buckets, making rollercoasters, making lots of food on a stick and of course making Sweet Martha Cookie buckets!
📖Story Time:
✨ Our favorite stories were I Went to the Animal Fair, Going to the Fair, Fun at the County Fair, and Dora At The Carnival.
✋Sensory Play:
✨ We had fun playing with playing sensory bags, finger painting cookies and making playdoh creations.
✨We had a wonderful week exploring everything about the fair! The children loved sharing their favorite fair activities and describing all the delicious treats they enjoy eating there. 🍿
