We’re very proud to introduce our 2026-27 MHS Student representatives to the RUSD Board of Trustees, Liz (left) and Osiel (second from left). Joined by their peers from RHS and MVA we appreciate their perspectives on the business of our schools! Liz and Osiel also highlighted the No Hard Feelings Club along with Mr. McCrohan and ASB student Mia, who shared what’s happening around campus.

Get the tissues ready. This is a good one. SKILLS JAM has dropped a great video about Gustavo, a Montecito High School alumnus, who shares his incredible journey from juvenile hall to building a successful career. He gives a lot of credit to Mr. Jordan and our CTE Construction program for the skills he learned.

His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when students are given a second chance, a real opportunity, and a teacher who believes in them.

We are so proud of Gustavo and the impact Mr. Jordan continues to have on our students. This is why CTE matters!!

Thank you Skills Jam for capturing and sharing this heartwarming story, SkillsUSA for supporting career-connected learning, and Ramona Unified School District for investing in CTE opportunities for our students.

Our new school year is off to a great start! Mr. Jordan always ends week 1 with a nail driving contest. If you can beat Mr. Jordan, he will buy you a burrito… but we all know, he’s the G.O.A.T.! No burritos today but a few people came close!
