🌺 KEYNOTE SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: Danny Goya

We’re excited to welcome Danny Goya, as one of our keynote speakers at the 2026 NICCA National Conference in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi!

With more than 15 years of experience in education and community-based work, Danny is a trauma-informed trainer, facilitator, strategist, and wellness and resilience coach. His work brings together Western science and Indigenous cultural practices through a unique “two-lens” approach to addressing trauma and strengthening wellness and resilience in our communities.

Danny has provided trauma-informed care training and strategic consultation for the Departments of Education, Health, and Human Services, Aliʻi Trusts, and nonprofit organizations. He also serves as Director of Strategies and Innovation at the Mālama ʻĀina Foundation and as the 27th Trustee for the King Charles Lunalilo Trust.

We look forward to having Danny share his knowledge and perspective with us! 🌺

Books have the power to strengthen identity, inspire learning, and bring communities together. The Indigenous Library Program is helping expand access to culturally relevant books by providing free Little Free Library packages to Indigenous communities across the United States and Canada. Through Indigenous stories and voices, these libraries create opportunities for literacy, connection, and cultural celebration.

We're proud to highlight the Indigenous Library Program as a valued NICCA member and resource for Tribal communities. Learn more about their work and the impact they are making through Indigenous-centered literacy initiatives.
