Hi 2nd grade families! The Krayer family grew last night, with the birth of our second child, Eleanor. I'll be out of school this week, but I'm thrilled to have Mr. Ottoson in subbing for me all week, keeping the learning going. The class is in great hands!

Did the days get away from you a bit? That's ok! While Turkey Trot donations were due today, they are being extended into next week.

Today was the last day for donations to count for the chance to silly string a teacher, but donations collected next week WILL count toward the sweet treat, popcorn, and pizza party rewards.

We finished "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown as our daily read aloud today. Be sure to do ask your child about it... I think it made an impact. We're excited to read the sequel! 🤖📘

We tried a, "Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything"-themed Breakout Box. All 3 teams solved the puzzles and unlocked all 6 locks to reach their reward!

Have you heard about our annual Halloween parade route? Sorry about the poor quality of the screen grab... Parade starts at 1pm Thursday. Students may bring costumes to school. Please leave any overly scary costumes and weaponry at home. We'll update with any potential changes due to weather.
