Early Childhood Educator Webinar series
This series of webinars for early childhood educators (pre-kindergarten and kindergarten educators) is presented by the NC Early Learning Network. The webinars will address strategies for partnering with families to support instruction and development, guidance for building the capacity of families to partner in formative assessment by providing information on their observations and the support they provide in the home and community settings, and teaching practices that address equity and cultural responsiveness in the early childhood classroom. There will be a focus on evidence-based instructional practices to support children’s emotional and social development.

Webinar 1- Partnering with Families to Support Instruction
The first webinar in the series discusses the importance of building strong partnerships with families and caregivers. Understanding a child’s daily routine in the home and the priorities and preferences of their family opens doors to facilitating learning both at home and in the early childhood setting. This webinar will be offered twice.
