Between preparing for SenterME’s beta launch next week, my baby starting kindergarten, and my eldest turning the BIG 10, I have been preparing for the next big thing, pitching at BaddieCon Pitch Competition in NY on Thursday.

I am joining some incredible Baddies in tech and am honored for this opportunity! I can’t wait to hit the stage because if anyone knows me, they know I LOVE using my voice for impact.

To think, two years ago all I knew was that I wanted women to feel, see, and know that there is something greater on the other side of burnout cycles, fear, and unfulfillment. I don’t have to tell you it’s been hard but I will tell you this journey never ceases to amaze me.

SenterME has created new experiences, new connections, and paths to new places that I never thought I’d be. This will be my first trip to NY and second pitch competition. This journey just keeps getting better.

I was walking out of Publix this morning heading into the second quarterly Her D.R.E.A.M. Life Immersive Workshop when I got in my car, checked my email and saw that I had been selected as a semifinalist for the Competition 🥹

My day was already going great because I love what I do and I couldn’t wait to get started but that email took today to another level entirely💫

I’ve had people tell me to my face to give up on SenterME to ‘get a real job’ or ‘this may be too much for you’ 🙃 and make no mistake the life of a startup founder is character-building 😌

But what they don’t know that I do is that there are millions of lives connected to SenterME and it isn’t something I signed up for, it’s what I’ve been called to do. It’s who I’ve been called to be.

As a startup founder, moments like these matter. ❤️

So of course I channeled my energy into the incredible SenterME experience known as the Her D.R.E.A.M. Life Immersive Workshop today and a👏🏾 time👏🏾 was👏🏾 had👏🏾

I’m so grateful for the breath. I’m so grateful for the human experience of myself. I’m so grateful for alignment. I’m so grateful for community and tribe. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve in emotional wellness for women professionals everywhere and every day 🫶🏾

My babies are officially gone for the summer 🥹 these were from their last selfie session with my phone yesterday (I love it when they do this lol).

Don’t get me wrong I’M THRILLED 🤣 but as a mom these babies are a huge part of my routine and the way I navigate it.

Whenever they leave there’s always this adjustment period and change is sometimes difficult so I start missing them immediately.

But then the freedom of being in one place in one moment and fully present because part of me isn’t in the living room or listening for running water in the bathroom or suspicious silence 👀 helps me get over it 😌

Women are responsible for over 2/3 of unpaid household and caregiving responsibilities and while that’s a job in itself most of us have careers too!

Needless to say, our contribution to society and the economy is severely undervalued so we have to FIRST take our breaks😉 THEN speak up about our needs, our experiences, and most importantly our true value.

Motherhood isn’t easy.

We not only deserve time for ourselves to catch our breath, sit in the moment fully present, return to our wholeness, explore ourselves, and our emotions, but we also deserve to be valued for ALL that we do and ALL that we are and we must be the representation of said value with our actions, and voices.

Self-love has an incredible impact on the world around you when you become an example of it.

I’ll be cooking myself brunches in the evenings, painting, creating, dancing, meditating, soaking in herbal and sound baths, listening to music that raises my vibration, and taking long naps if anybody needs me🫶🏾💕💫
