Another awesome week at WECHS!

It’s been a busy one! Our North Campus students officially started classes, our Pharmacy Technician students celebrated receiving their training certificates, and our freshmen and sophomores participated in an interactive activity during PULSE!

Our School Improvement Team also spent time digging into the data and looking for ways to continue improving and supporting student success. 📊🔎

We started the week with New Student Camp on Monday and kept the momentum going with EMT Summer Experience presentations, junior orientation, junior & senior photos, and CPR training!

Thursday brought the first day of school for our 9th & 10th graders! 💙🩺

Summer may be in full swing, but our students have been staying busy! From traveling with EPF, to competing at HOSA, to taking Wake Tech courses, they're making the most of every opportunity.

Learning, exploring, and making memories, what a way to spend the summer! ☀️🇬🇧

A group of our staff and students recently participated in the Health Sciences in Great Britain Tour, exploring Edinburgh and London while learning about the history of medicine, healthcare, and science. From historic medical sites and museums to iconic landmarks, it was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, discovery, and lasting memories.

Our students are safely back in Raleigh after an amazing experience at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis last week!
Throughout the week, they explored the city, attended the HOSA Expo and leadership sessions, competed in individual and team events, and earned a chapter award. They also enjoyed networking opportunities and a fun Indiana Fever game.
While we did not place in the Top 10, our students competed among top qualifiers from around the world and represented our school with professionalism, resilience, and teamwork.
