This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to others.

Their courage, sacrifice, leadership, and commitment will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude.

Ask yourself:
What actually gives me energy?

Not what looks productive.
Not what everyone else is doing.

What genuinely helps YOU feel better, calmer, motivated, or connected?

That awareness matters more than people think.

Your strengths aren’t just academic.

They’re how you naturally show up in everyday life.

Maybe you’re the friend who:
– keeps everyone organized
– makes people laugh
– checks in on others
– comes up with ideas
– gets things moving

That’s strengths in action.

Not just at school. Not just on a test.
It’s part of who you are.

If you’re working this summer, try this:
Before spending your paycheck, move a small amount into savings first.

Even $10–25 adds up faster than you think.

Most people wait to save “what’s left over.”
Usually… nothing is left over.

Future you will be thankful.

If your strengths planned the summer…

📅 Discipline already made the schedule
✈️ Activator booked the trip yesterday
🌊 Adaptability said “we’ll figure it out”
🎉 Woo invited everyone
📖 Intellection just wants quiet time and a book

Which one feels most like you?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, chosen mothers, and mother figures in our community.

Every day, you use your strengths in ways that often go unseen:
– encouraging others when they need support
– leading through challenges
– creating stability and care
– showing resilience, empathy, patience, and love

The way you show up matters more than you know.

Today we celebrate the many different ways what strength looks like in motherhood.

Graduating seniors, this is your moment.

You’ve learned more than what’s in your classes, you’ve learned who you are. The way you think, connect, lead, and show up in the world matters.

Take your strengths with you. They are yours in every room you walk into next.

Good luck and congratulations, Class of 2026.

A growth mindset is the belief that intelligence, skills, and talents can be developed through effort, learning, and persistence rather than being innate, fixed traits. Coined by Dr. Carol Dweck, this perspective drives a love of learning, resilience in the face of setbacks, and the pursuit of challenges.

Key Characteristics of a Growth Mindset:
-Embracing Challenges: Viewing obstacles as opportunities to grow rather than threats.
-Persistence: Continuing effort despite setbacks.
-Effort as Path to Mastery: Understanding that hard work is necessary to develop ability.
-Learning from Criticism: Utilizing feedback to improve.
-Finding Inspiration in Others: Viewing the success of others as a source of motivation, not a threat.
-The Power of "Yet": Believing that if a skill is not mastered, it is just not mastered yet.

Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
Growth Mindset: Abilities can grow with effort and strategy.
Fixed Mindset: Intelligence and talent are unchangeable "traits".

People with a growth mindset tend to achieve more, possess higher motivation, and exhibit better coping skills. This approach can be applied to fostering better results in results in academics, sports, and business.
