-separate raw meat from other foods
-keep cold foods cold until you are ready to cook them

Meal planning is an excellent way to save time throughout the week. On the weekend, sit down to make a list of all the meals you plan to make that week and check if you have all the ingredients you will need.

If you want, you can even have a “meal prep day.” On your meal prep day, you can chop all the vegetables you will be using in dishes throughout the week, precook meats and grains, or even prepare entire meals and freeze them for later.
