Program participants gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed choices about low-cost, nutritious foods, and t

It’s no secret that food costs are rising and feeding our families healthy and nutritious food is not always easy. Food banks work with local pantries to help fill the gap. If you or anyone you know is in need, this resource shares where you can access food banks and get connected with pantries.

Meet our new EFNEP educator in Lenoir County- Ivy!

Ivy will be serving both youth and adult audiences. As she gets comfortable in her new role, she is looking forward to getting to know her community members and developing relationships with local partners. She is also excited to meet the rest of the EFNEP program assistants and get involved with cooperative extension.

Ivy enjoys going to the beach and cross stitching. If she is not doing either of these activities she is busy planning her wedding later this month!!

Dee Dee started last month and is excited to educate her local community regarding living a healthier lifestyle. She believes in a healthy balance - not an all or nothing lifestyle. When not at work, you can find her collecting plants!
