Happy September! 🍎

The PTA had a VERY successful August! $2,308 was raised at our Nova Spirit Day, with Vance receiving $461.60! This money will go towards much-needed printer ink for the school. 🖨️

We got TONS of snacks donated through our snack drive! Our kids won’t go hungry for awhile thanks to you! 🍿

Our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night featuring the fabulous PE teacher Ms. Minton and fun PJ Panther raised over $1700 total with $426.09 available for us to give our amazing teachers a Chick-fil-A lunch! 🥪

And our smaller Fall Book Fair raised over $10,132.38!!! Since we did not have a teacher wish list in this smaller, quicker event, all proceeds will go directly to the classrooms! $4,705.55 will be split between all of the classrooms to shop for new Scholastic books! 📚

We are getting closer to our Fun Run!! 🎉 The PTA has been busy getting sponsors for this really fun and really important event, as this is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Funds go to pretty much everything the PTA does for our school all year long. 😎

🚨TONIGHT is our Chick-fil-A spirit night! But this isn’t just ANY spirit night…. We have TWO very special guests that will be there tonight! 🚨

Our beloved PE Teacher, Ms. Minton, and our mascot, PJ Panther will be at Chick-fil-A from 5-6 pm, making milkshakes and other delicious items! So come inside and see them for yourselves!! (Although drive thru orders are fine too).

Please mention that your order is for Vance or you can also mention “Panthers”.

We can’t wait to see Ms. Minton and PJ Panther as well as all of our other Panthers tonight!!! 🎉

📚 LAST CALL FOR BOOK FAIR!!! 📚

Any kids who were absent, forgot their money, or still have a remaining ewallet balance are invited to finish their shopping tomorrow morning!

If your child still needs to shop, please let their teacher know by 10:00 tomorrow morning.

Please also know you can shop online if you missed anything, or grandparents want to order, or you want to preorder any new books like the new Dog Man book coming out soon! 💙

Tomorrow afternoon from 4-5:30 you may also come shop the Family Book Fair! Come help your kids pick out some of their favorite items and get some goodies for yourself too! Because who doesn’t love the book fair?! 📖

Get ready for another fun week at Vance! 🥰

📚 We have our Fall Book Fair this week! You can preview books, preorder some popular titles and set up an E-Wallet (pre-pay online) at this link:

Your child’s teacher should have sent home your child’s shopping day (either Tuesday or Wednesday). We will do makeup shopping trips on Thursday as needed!

📖 Wednesday afternoon from 4-5:30 we will have a Family Shopping Night! Come help siblings pick out books, pick out adult books for yourself, and just come enjoy the fun with your student!

We still need a few volunteers for the book fair this week so if you can squeeze in some time to help your child’s class shop let us know 🙂

🐄 On Thursday, we will also have our Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A! So no cooking dinner required on Thursday 🤗 We will have two VERY special guests there helping to make your dinners so keep an eye out for that reveal soon! ✨

TODAY!!! Don’t forget to make some time today to swing by Nova Adventure Park in Garner for some play and jump time with your friends at Vance!! 🤸🏻‍♀️

You MUST mention it’s for Vance when you buy your admission tickets and 20% comes back to Vance for much needed supplies! ✂️

Next week is our first book fair of the year!! ✨

We will have 3️⃣ book fairs this year, because why not?! 🤩

Every class will do a preview- just a quick walk through- on Monday. Every class will then have a 30 minute shopping time on either Tuesday or Wednesday 📚 Your child’s teacher will let you know what day theirs is. We will also have an afternoon shopping day so adults can join in the fun also! (So nostalgic, right?!) This will be next Wednesday, August 26, from 4-5:30. 📔
