After 8 wonderful years, Garner Sewing Room closed its doors last December. That teaching studio meant so much to me — it was where so many kids and beginners learned their first stitches, where friendships formed, and where creativity grew every single week. 🧵

While that chapter has come to an end, my love for sewing and teaching certainly hasn’t.
I’m excited to share that I’m moving forward under a new name:
ShortySewsNC

This change reflects where I am now — continuing to create beginner-friendly sewing kits, cross stitch kits, fabric designs, and patterns, and sharing my projects through videos and Live Sew & Chats on YouTube.

Updating my online profiles from Garner Sewing Room to ShortySewsNC is my way of closing one chapter and starting a new one.
Garner Sewing Room will always be a special part of my story, and I’m so grateful for everyone who supported the studio over the years.
