It’s time to celebrate the incredible talents of our students on a statewide stage. The NC Community College System Office and the NC AFA Association are officially accepting submissions for the NC AFA Student Showcase. This digital gallery will be featured live at the NC Community College System Conference in Raleigh from October 14 through 16.

Whether your students are shaping clay, writing sonatas, or commanding the stage, we want their creative work represented. Submissions are open to all AFA-affiliated programs, including Visual Art, Music, and Theatre.

Here is what you need to know to get involved:
Faculty and administrators submit on behalf of current students and recent graduates. Each program may submit up to five portfolio-quality works representing their discipline. The final day to submit is Monday, August 24, 2026.

Let’s show the entire state system the high-caliber, diverse, and dedicated work being produced in our AFA programs.

We are officially accepting session proposals for our milestone 15th anniversary conference! We are looking for community college educators, administrators, and arts advocates to share their expertise.
