Wednesday was a meaningful day at the North Carolina Legislature advocating for home care and the importance of caring for individuals with dignity at home.
Patti Williams had wonderful conversations with NC Representative Cynthia Ball and NC Senator Julie Mayfield, both of whom shared personal experiences of family caregiving. She also spoke with Sheila Settles, wife of Senator Eddie Settle, about caregiving and family support during NC Home Care Advocacy Day.
A bonus moment of the day was attending a press conference where Ronan shared the benefits of home care during her recovery after surviving a near-fatal drunk driving accident.
It was a great day of advocacy and meaningful conversations.
Had such a great time last week at the Agile Conference in Dallas! I enjoyed reconnecting with so many wonderful people in the industry.

Patti Williams had such a great time last week at the AGILE Conference in Dallas! She presented alongside Becky Reel and connected with so many wonderful people in the industry.
One of the highlights was running into Tim Rogers and Judy Penn from the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina at the AGILE Red Party. In between sessions, she also packed toiletries for local facilities, which made the experience even more meaningful.
Great conference, great conversations, and a great time all around!

Our CEO, Patti Williams had the opportunity to present at the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina's annual conference last week.
It was a meaningful conversation about the growing number of older adults aging without traditional support systems (Solo-Agers), and what that really means for home care agencies. She unveiled the opportunity for home care providers to step in with care, , and . It was great being in a room with professionals who are thinking ahead and committed to doing this work as the aging population evolves.
