We are a large, diverse elementary school that operates on a year-round calendar. Our students are engaged in learning using a variety of instructional methods and experiences. At Durant, we have a family focus and enjoy wonderful parent involvement and community support through our Partners in Education. The YMCA runs a before school and after school program.

It's time to get our next Spirit Night on your calendar! Join us for McTeacher Night September 24th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. **Please note the change in address!** Due to scheduling issues this McTeacher Night will take place at the McDonald's on the corner of Capital Boulevard and Old Wake Forest Road. But don't worry, Staff will still be there to sell freshly, baked, warm cookies. Remember to to bring your cash!
